Hey everyone, who’s ready for a contest? With the release of Transmit Now’s 2nd full length album “1955” we want to get the word out about the band. So, let’s get Transmit Now to 10,000 “Likes” on Facebook. Every new person who “Likes” them will still get their first full length album for free, but there will be a special prize for the 10,000th “Like” along with the person who referred them. Both people will get a Transmit Now/Street Team prize pack. Both prize packs will include:

-2 Street Team bracelets

-A Transmit Now guitar pick necklace

-3 Transmit Now stickers

-3 Transmit Now buttons

-Transmit Now Pen and Notepad (from the prize list)

-1 free entry to the next Transmit Now show in your area (this will be followed up with me. When a show happens in your area, just let me know and I will get your name on the will call list.)

Now, for this to work, we can’t have people unliking the page just to relike it again. In order to be eligible for the prize pack if your referral is the 10,000th “Like,” you have to “Like” the band as well. If people unlike just to relike, the numbers won’t grow, they’ll just to down then back up.

For those of you who already “Like” the page, we are working/thinking of something for you guys. Something like 5-10 random people will win a prize just for already liking the page. Those details are still being worked out, so stay tuned for that :-)

There is being a change made with #TransmitTrivia. It is being moved from Tuesdays to Saturdays, and will be happening every 2 weeks instead of every week. So because of this, it will only be twice a month most months with a couple months having 3 of them. As for points, everyone who participates will get 30 points instead of 15, and the winner will get 60 points instead of 30. The winner’s discount code will also be good for 2 weeks instead of just one, but still expiring one hour before the next trivia starts.

So, the next trivia will take place on June 2nd, unsure of the time at the moment, but I’ll let you all know via twitter and facebook.

Hey all, let me pose a question. Would anyone be interested in Street Team pens? Ones that say “Official Transmitter, Transmit Now Street Team” on them? They would be the same as the bracelets, $5 with free shipping. It would also be a pre-order like the bracelets. If not enough people wanted them, I wouldn’t order them. And if anyone did pre-order a pen and not enough people want them, then everyone will be refunded their money.

Hey all, I’ve come up with a new contest. It’s a sticker contest. The person who uses the most “I <3 Poster Boys” stickers is the winner. Put them on your car, your binders, your lockers, give them to friends, strangers, put them on the walls of concert venues (if it’s allowed), pretty much anything you can think of.

This contest will last a little over a month. It is going to start Monday, January 23^rd and end Wednesday, February 29^th. Meaning the latest you can submit pictures will be until 11:59pm CST on the 29^th.

The winner gets to choose their prize from the prize list, excluding the signed Transmit Now cd. And, if you are a member of the street team, for each sticker you hand out/put up, you still get your 5 points per sticker. If you are not a member and want to know more, please let me know.

Now, here are the guidelines:

• Since this is a contest of who uses the most stickers, I must see a picture of EVERY sticker you use. If there is no picture, then it doesn’t count. Sorry, but I have to be fair to everyone and actually see the proof. Now, if you hand out 5 stickers to 5 people, you can take a group shot, just make sure all 5 stickers are visible.
• Please send pictures of proof throughout the contest, don’t just wait to send it all in at the end. I want to see your progress, and it’ll be easier to sort through all the photos and make sure everyone gets the right amount of points.
• Before you put a sticker somewhere, make sure it is ok to do it. Don’t go sticking them on houses or walls of businesses or venues without seeing if it’s ok. The point of this contest is to help get the word out more about Transmit Now, but in a good way.
• Please do NOT request stickers if you aren’t sure you are going to participate in the contest. I will be keeping a list of everyone who requests stickers for the contest, and I will be asking for photos if I haven’t been getting any from you.
• You can request more stickers at anytime. Just send me an email saying you need more and I’ll send them out.

Everyone will start with 20 stickers. If you want to participate in the contest, shoot me an email saying you want to participate and I’ll send you some stickers. They won’t go out until the beginning of next week, but you should get them in time for the start of the contest. The email is transmitnowst@gmail.com.

This is also the email where you will send the photos of stickers you’ve used.

Just a little update for everyone who participated in the Secret Santa. If you haven’t gotten your present yet, give it a little time. Some presents may not have been sent out in time to get there before Christmas. If after a couple weeks after Christmas, you still haven’t gotten anything, let me know and I’ll contact your Secret Santa to see what happened.
